Nike, the athletic clothing and footwear brand founded in Oregon, has been on the cutting edge of sportswear design and development for over 50 years. When creating its eastern United States headquarters, Nike sought to capture the essence and vitality of New York in this state of the art space. The 147,000 square foot office features wellness rooms, a fitness studio and a full size basketball court. Nike also locally sourced many of the materials, furniture and artwork for its East Coast headquarters, creating office and design space unparalleled in New York. ABCO Peerless installed fire protection systems throughout the facility, further contributing to the theme of ‘local artisanship’ in New York.
