The New York Edition Hotel, located in the historic original 1909 Metropolitan Life Insurance Building at 5 Madison Avenue, is another hotel in the luxury line designed by Ian Schrager.  While many of the building’s original features have been highlighted, any guest at this hotel can’t help but notice the generously appointed rooms and unbelievable New York City skyline views. ABCO Peerless installed fire protection systems on every floor of the over 600 foot tall building. Many design issues had to be considered during construction, including supporting our piping from concrete over 100 years old. Upon completion, the Edition New York stakes its claim among the most unique and most luxurious hotels in the world.
